Been going here for years. A nice spot for swimming. The beach is usually clean and not as crowded as other beaches. Nice place to take kids.
Great park, but the main reason to go here is the massive reenactment every August. Every year there's something new.
Great place to relax and walk. We were driving the scenic Hwy and we stop in this park, we spent around 1 hour and we really enjoyed.
My family and I try to come here every year around the forth of July. I absolutely love this beach. My children and myself love looking for beach glass. They have a spot you can drive down onto the beach. The water has always been clean. The sand here can be a little rough on the feet so bring water shoes. The beach is also full of stones which we like to draw on. We will be back next year!
Beautiful views of Lake Erie. Beaches are groomed. Lots of ways to waist away the summer. All kinds of sled riding in the winter months. Pavilions for rent for summer get togethers. Charcoal grills on site as well as in picnic areas. Closes at dusk, plenty of time to witness one of the top rated sunsets in the country. We kinda like it.
